Carpet cleaning
anyone have any ideas on how to get tan carpet back tan????? besides dying it

I believe they make attachments for steam type carpet cleaners. May try one of those.

A bucket of water with Dawn dish soap,or Era will work,but dawn is better.Scrub the carpet with a small semi-stiff brush in an X pattern,and vacuum it dry with a shopvac.That's how we did them in the detail shop,takes some elbow grease if it's really dirty.Maybe 2-3 times.

Simple Green and a pressure washer.
Spray the Simple Green directly on the carpet. Scrub like hell with a brush. Rinse with a pressure washer. Rinse. Repeat until Tan. Last edited by Shane; 06-14-2006 at 01:50 PM. |
