What would it take to fit wheels?

What would it take to fit wheels from a Z06 Corvette on a 5 lug 72 truck? Is this possible?

Re: What would it take to fit wheels?

They are different bolt patterns, and the offset on the vette wheels is too much. You might get buy with some special adapter/spacers (not the best way to go in my book). You could also redrill everything on the truck to match the vette bolts pattern, but the offseet would still be too much and I would imagine the center hub of the truck will be too large to fit in the wheels without them being machined. You would probably be better off getting a set of knock off vette wheels made for the truck's bolt pattern.

Anything's possible in PS Here's a quickie I done. Seriously, like others said, unless you could find a place that makes knock-offs that had them with the correct backspacing, lug-pattern and hub diameter, it prolly wouldn't be worth the hassle.

Actually the thick bolt on spacers arent that bad. Im sure you can get them with the bolt pattern change too. I looked into vette wheels for my sons s-10 & did a little research on the spacers. He changed his mind when he saw the price of tires, wheels & spacers. The old style slip on spacers are SCARY though!
