Difference between Cheyenne and Super Cheyenne?
Brought up on another post by Tom Hand. What is the difference between the Cheyenne and the Super Cheyenne? Seirra and Seirra Grande (GMC)?

The difference is trim! Wood grain design in dash cluster and glove box door, Super or Sierra Grande logo on glove box door and on fornt fenders, and a chrome tail gate release. That's about it!!

Also houndstooth material on bench seats, full gauge instrumentation, upper (belt) molding, and full wheel covers . Contrary to popular belief, all supers and grandes did not come with tilt, tach, buckets, etc... All the options still had to be ordered. I once saw a factory Cheyenne Super with no a/c, manual steering, and manual brakes. Also, it amazes me how many people show in "original" class at Super Chevy, Pigeon Forge, and others with ralley wheels and claim that they were available in '71-'72. All supers and grandes came with the full wheel covers (the ones with the fake lugs around the outer edge) on 1/2 ton and the smaller (dog dish) caps on 3/4 - 1 ton.
