This is what i have Code G 86 on a 71 C20 there is a number on the housing 3934635 and 95 below the cover is a 10 bolt on the back and front I know is a 4:10 posi but could this be a Dana

It very likely is a Dana 60. There is a drawing of a Dana 60 in this website. http://www.offroaders.com/info/tech-.../axlefacts.htm

The one in my 71' has the number "60" in the lower right hand corner of the differenntial housing.
