New because I've found some time to get to this project. A 2wd blazer made from a blazer tub and a truck frame. I will replace the entire firewall and windshield frame.
There is plenty of dents and rust to repair so it should be fun.

I am going to use the new complete cab floor from goodmark. A little pricey but I'll give a report on the quality when I get one to my place.

Boss, I have a lot of raw footage of blazer repairs I've made and I am filming this one as well. If I make DVD's, They will be very reasonably priced and I may provide a way to download parts for free (thanks to the success of the cab repair DVD's)

What all is involved in mounting the tub on the truck frame?

First the truck frame has to be cut down to 104 inch wheel base. Then you'll need the cushion brackets from a blazer frame or you will need to fab some. Not really that involved.

That's one of the things that makes these trucks popular, lots of possibilities. You must have a shorty truck. Wonder if anyone has made a long blazer...

Earl, "...Wonder if anyone has made a long Blazer?" I have a Longhorn frame...now there is an original thought! Someone is already doing a Longhorn 4x4...so how about a Blazehorn dually?

I can't wait to see what great things you are going to do with this project!!!!!!!!

GM did and still does. they call it a suburban.

but I agree, a dually 133" blazer would be kool
