blazer bed tub swap

got a hold of a blazer bed that i cut out of a 72 blazer but i got a c10 short bed and i was wondering if its possible to do with some mods or is inpossible to swap into a short fleet bed. is there some one who know if the panels are the same size?

Are you talking about just the floor or the whole back half including the bed sides? Short bed sides are longer than Blazer bed sides.

wold i be able to use the metal floor if i buy new fleetside panels, i was planing on cutting the midle to make room for a notch or would it be cheaper and easier to hunt down a bed

i think it would be easier to cut it down versus stretching it to short bed size i just picked up a long bed to cut down for my blazer it was cheap and in great shape too bad you are so far we could trade .

tom, take good pics of you cutting the long bed down and write us a FAQ, 'cuz I got one I need to cut down too.
