extended cab sighting

I went outside to have a smoke a little while ago & sitting across the street was a mid '80's chevy with an extended cab. I grabbed the digi & walked over to snap a couple pics for you guys. The kid driving it came out & we talked a bit but he didnt know a whole lot about it. Its his Dad's truck & he said it was done by a limo builder some years back. Thats all I found out about it but figured you guys might like to see it...corn

Looks like a nice one. I have seen a few but they were all junk.

Re: extended cab sighting

Wonder how much longer it actually is compared to a lwb, if you look at it, it has a long bed on it, but cut down in the front. maybe 8-12 inches??? I like it tho.

Re: extended cab sighting

I sw an odd one this weekend, too. It was a longbed stepside. Only about the fourth one I have ever seen in person. It was for sale, but there was no price on it. It was a 3/4 ton, four speed, with a granny low. I would like to have it, but I have too many vehicles already.

The first one I ever saw was one my dad had when I was 11 or 12. His was a 3/4 ton with a manual also. It was what got me started on this whole 73-87 thing.
