Re: Blacky is in WA!!!!!!!!!!!
I dig the whole vette suspension thing I've read that the C3 IRS had some design issues that cause poor handling. If you are serious about road racing it, and not just doing it for "cool factor," you might want to find out what can be done to cure those issues (I wish I had more detail for ya). From what I understand the vette IRS made leaps and bounds in improvements when GM redesigned it for the C4. You may be able to get enough funds out of selling your C3 IRS to a purist to buy a C4 IRS. Just a though. Either way it'll ride and handle better than stock.

Well, the bed came off, the tools included an 8 pound sledge with a 3 foot handle and a sawzall! I'm ecstatic, the frame is solid as a rock! The trailing arms look good, too!

Re: Blacky is in WA!!!!!!!!!!!
I really don't know. I know the 73-87 frames are different. It's possible to mount it on those frames. I think one fo the guys on the site has a 67-72 on a late-model dueally frame.
