Question question about 1966 3/4 ton rear end

I have a 1966 3/4 ton LWB fleetside. i want to convert it to 1/2 ton. I am going to by one of the disc brake kits for the front to convert to 5 lug. I want to lower it 4in in the front. In the rear I want to lower it 5 or 6in. Here is the question. Can I use the same rear end which has a 4.11 or 4.57 gear and just change out the axle shafts to a 5 lug? Where can I get some if I can? The rear end is good and I really don't want to buy the whole thing unless I have too. Any input would be great. Thank you

I am pretty sure the 3/4 ton rearend you have is a semi-floater... 1/2 ton axles will not interchange. You will need to swap the rearend.
