Opinion Needed !! Please ??

Okay guys, let me know what you think of this. Some of you may remember the billet instrument panel that Javier Sanchez ( Javy ) at J&J Engineering did for me. A pic of it is included. I just ran across a billet trim piece for the glove box door that i think is really cool. Do you feel these two patterns would go together and not "clash" ? My instrument panel is ball milled in an arch pattern around the gauges. This trim piece i'm considering is ball milled in a straight pattern.

Take a look at both and try to visualize them together. Not that it really matters, but all my engine accesseries are ball milled (straight).

Let me know what you all think !!

Re: Opinion Needed !! Please ??

Hate to be the odd man out, I do not think they look good together - The one has straight line and the other has round, half moon designs. I think it would be like wearing a striped shirt with plaid pants. This of course is only my opinion. Maybe if there were straight cuts in the dash piece or no lines, just plain billet on the glove box.

I have the same cluster.

I have to contact Javier for his glove box door panel.

I thought about that item from ebay.

I do plan to paint the grooves wit matching body colour before clear powdercoating them.

I am nost sure about the mix. How about a shot on your dash?

Re: Opinion Needed !! Please ??

Thanks for all the opinions, guys ! I have decided to take a slightly different approach to this. I was unsure of the match from the get go, so what i am planning is the same trim piece on the glove box door, but without any ball milling. I'll fab an aluminium piece to fit like in the picture, then i'll use the factory 67-68 glove box emblem and graft it in the trim piece on the right side. I'm working on it right now ( at work ) and i'll post pics when i'm done to see what everyone thinks !
Thanks again for all the input !!
