classic heartbeat electric fan kit

Those that have installed this kit I am doing mine this weekend.
First question is the temp probe for the fan should go thru the rad close to the upper hose right.
Second questions the rubber grommets do they go between the fan and shroud or shroud and radiator.
Last question did you cut off the plugs from the fans or put spade connectors on wires and use plugs?
one more thing it says 20 amp fuses but the fuses in it look like 30 amps?

Thanks
any other tips for this kit would be nice

ps were is a good place to mount a toggle overide switch?

Sorry not to be of any help...let us know how it goes. I am considering this fan kit from WES also.

Re: classic heartbeat electric fan kit

No back to not working It worked for about 10 minutes then the fans just started up for no reason. If I hook it up the way wes says the fans just run and run if I pull the ground under hood move the overide switch to the other end I can control them with the switch? Does it sound like the thermo is bad?
