This is my latest freebie, it looked at one time it was a very rust free truck. Probably bought from some old man for very cheap. No rust or cancer anywhere.
It has HD leave packs, has a 4speed, Dana 60 with 4.56 gears and a limited slip.

Was someone trying to make a Blazer or convertable? Or did they use the roof to replace a bad one on something else? Overall it looks to be in great shape

Uhh, for something like that, cant you make just about anything work?? Unless you are going for a concours correct restoration, I dont think 98% of the population would notice. Of the 2% that possibly might notice only .001% would care.
