Finally got my truck! (pics)

Well, I finally got my truck home. I know it's not a 68 Chevy, that deal fell through, but i do have a 1970ish (?) GMC in the yard now. new crate motor, just needs some wiring to get it running. $500 dollars

The crate motor was in it for the 500 bucks. it's got a 350 2 barrel in it right now. the mirror is mounted to the ceiling, not the windshield if that tells anything. i have no cle what year model it is honestly.

Right now it's a 350/350 with the old style 12 bolt rear. Not sure what gears, but we'll see how it goes once we get a decent carb on it and fire it up. Now we just gotta get another 350 for my truck and we can have some fun.

mines a 71' its on the roof too (the mirror)....looks like a 71 or 72... what does the interrior look like???... btw, one again, i cant stress how much of a deal ya got. i gave 2,500 for mine /w/ a shot engine.

Old trucks are fairly easy to come by around here. I'm from wisconsin (just got down here a month or so ago to work for charlie (68chevytowrig)), so I about crapped myself when I first got here.

Now it's on with body work and paint. Both trucks need wiring, and both are fairly rust free. My 65 was $200 without a motor.

Um... the interior is scary, lol. not sure what happened in there. everything is there, just needs a good cleaning and some disinfectant, lol.

Oh, the passneger door is STUCK...SOLID! can't get it to budge from the inside or the outside. otherwise fix one big dent, one small dent and 3 tiny rust spots, new tailgate, and throw some paint....

If you want one of these trucks this is totally teh place to be. there are at least 10 within 10 miles of my house in decent shape. even a 65 chevy sitting around too.
