Re: A little grill help please

Ok, been in the garage for the last 30 min staring and measuring...This grill needs some grinding on the inside sheet metal to make it fit tight. So with no fear and an 11,000 rpm grinder I started melting metal, slowly slowly until this thing from GM slides nicely into place. Yes loosened the lower front fender bolts. The grinder and file or two and a lot of patience and I believe I can get this to fit just right. Kinda crazy when I think I'm grinding on a new GM $500 dollar grill to make it fit the new Tri-Plus Goodmark fenders. The Re-Production grill I have really was out of whack and was no where close to fitting....it is going back to the vendor.
