new project??

I was out at a buddys house and he had a few trucks. I am looking for a project for my wife. He had a straight minor rust no engine factory a/c auto trans. 68 and a '72 cheyenne super NON a/c no bed cab in good shape but needs most everything else. told me I could get the 68 for 7 bills. I am thinking of going back out there and getting pic this week. Got ate up by the bugs while i was out there. Would the '68 be worth it? Probably tell more with pics. but thanks for opinions. oh both long beds. The 72 had coil springs with some type of leaf helper springs kinda odd looking. oh he also has a spirit of '76 kinda rough no motor no cluster, son wants it pretty bad ha ha
