VIN Location
Ok, I'm actually a little embarrassed to ask but I can't find the VIN number on my truck. There is no metal tag on the dash. I found it printed on a equipment list sticker in the glove box. I had a appriased yesterday and the appraiser couldn't find it either.
I can't imagine its just a sticker?? It must stamped in metal somewhere right?

Re: VIN Location
Look in the drivers side door jamb.
It wasn't placed on the dash untill later years. Your apraiser isn't supposed to be a classic car guy is he? If so I'd want my money back and find a new guy... all GMs in the 60's and early 70's were like this. |

Re: VIN Location
Thanks Longhorn Man. Duh You know I've actually looked at that tag before because I needed the gross weight when I registered it. Didn't notice the VIN was on there too.
Ya funny thing about my appraiser.........he said he used to own one of our trucks too!!
