'96 Tahoe DRL update

A few months ago my wife's, Tahoe's DRL's quit working. The system appeared to be working properly but, no lights. After doing some research (and some good advise from some of this board's members) I replaced the DRL diode that is located just above the brake pedal. Good news; the lights are now working! Took me awhile to get up the nerve to order the diode. The part# that my dealer had was different than the part# on the diode, itself. And, they didn't have one in-stock for me to compare with the old one. Also, I didn't want to have to buy from the dealer since I could buy it online and save over $10.00 off from the dealer's price (even with shipping costs). The Chevy dealer's price was $45.00+tax. Mine (with shipping) was $35.00. For anyone that needs to fix theirs, the part# is: 15043231- DRL Diode

Re: '96 Tahoe DRL update

Sorry, No pics. I already threw the old one away. It is about 2" x 3" with "fins". Mounts right next to the steering column above the brake pedal.
