Look what DHL dropped off today
Got home after a horrible 12 hour day......and I am stuck working through the weekend.....but on my door step was two boxes that I have been waiting for, and in the whirl wind of my week, have completely forgotten about. The small one was my cones, studs, and nuts to re-attach my steering arm.....and the second was an eaton third stocked with 4.10 gears and a detroit locker! I didn't have to sign for either, I think the DHL driver probably didn't want to have to load it back into the truck
Looks like it beat up the box a bit as seen in the first pic....I read something a while ago about putting this rear over a 5 gallon bucket of diesel, and turning the pinion to flush/clean it out, anyone done this before? Special thanks to Breeh for a great price, and shipping it from Washington State!

Hmmm, I thought that I had immobilized that thing better. I guess that it is a bit harder pinning down 140 lbs of steel! I am glad that it got to you though. Have fun with that!

Re: Look what DHL dropped off today
Yes, I was the guy with the diesel and 5-gallon. Try to clean the outside off real well first and get out the crud from the case so you don't wash it into the pinion. It won't fit in the bucket, I suspended mine kinda in and over the bucket and started flushing. If you let the diesel settle out you can skim the clean off the top and use it for future cleaning.
