S-10 Fuel mileage??

I'm thinking about buying a S-10 and was curious about the fuel mileage. How many MPG does your S-10 get? Please tell the engine/trans installed. Thanks

Re: S-10 Fuel mileage??

I had a 97 extended cab with the 2.2 4 banger and 5 speed and averaged about 25 around town maybe 27-28 on the road.

My 94 S10 blazer with 4.3 and 5 speed did about 19 (AC always on) no matter where I was.

Re: S-10 Fuel mileage??

Our slightly lifted 91 S10 Blazer, 4.3L 4wd, auto gets about 18 pushing mud tires and our 91 S10 Blazer 4.3L 2wd auto gets a few miles to the gallon better.
