'67-'68 grille?

hey all, getting to the point where i have to decide what i'm gonna do about the '67 grille.

i know that the inserts were white, with the rest of the grille being the body color, along with having chrome inserts with the grille being white.

but, what're some other options that you guys have fun? billet is a possibility, but i'd like to keep it at a level of something i can fab up.

and, i know i could buy aftermarket chrome trim rings..but..lets face it. i'm cheap. sooo. any suggestions as to what to do with the plain steel tirm rings i have?

pics are always appreciated!

thanks!

.later days.
.sam.

Re: '67-'68 grille?

On mine, I am shaving the bowtie. I also am taking the upper insert out of my bad grill and replacing the lower insert in my good grill with it. Then I will use a 71-72 bumper and run clear lens for the park/turn lamps. I may try to find an old billet grill insert and make it fit in there too.
