Roch carb fuel wells
I would like to seal the fuel wells on my Roch carb with something other than epoxy. Has anyone ever used 50/50 solder to seal them or would you have to use silfoss? Thanks very much for any info.

Re: Roch carb fuel wells
I don't think you will have much luck getting the solder to stick well enough.Might try TIG but thats overkill why not just tap them and locktite a plug in.

Re: Roch carb fuel wells
Yeah I was thinking of a recessed allen head screw.

Re: Roch carb fuel wells
I'd be afraid the heat of soldering would melt the carb metal.
