Chevrolet Pronto?

Ever seen one of these?
I found it for sale on a German site, it is described as a 1972 Chevrolet Pronto.
Only 15.500 KM, thats less than 10K miles.

All trucks sold new by GM in Sweden had clear lenses, it was and still is mandatory with clear front park lamps in Sweden and I guess most part of Europe.

I have bought a set of clear lenses especially for the annual check-up.
It is illegal to have amber driving lights in the front. They must be white.
I don't like the white lights, I want them to be amber, so that's why I have
these lenses on the truck for one day in the year.

Re: Chevrolet Pronto?

Don`t you have to have amber turn signals on the rear also?Isn`t it funny, you guys get hassled for amber lenses on front and we get hassled for clear. All on the same vehicle.Once a standard is set,it`s safest to stay with it.

That's another strange point, the rear turnsignals are red on these trucks
and that is not a problem for us in The Netherlands.
I believe in Germany it wil give you problems if a car is 1971 or later, than it must
be concerted to amber. Maybe a German member can give us more info on that subject.

In Sweden it is mandatory to have amber turn signals on the rear from a specific year model, could be 75 I'm not sure, the inspectors did not say anything about it on my 71 truck.
Turn signals for the front could be clear or amber.
