Question Power brakes

hey guys i am going to the bone yard this week sometime and i am going to put power brakes on the 69.I want to keep drums all the way around but my son will be driving it also so i thought i better put some power on there for him.It might help keep some of the paint on....lol.So what i need to know is what all will i need to do this?Will i need the porportion valve?new master cylinder?lines?pedals brakets?Any help????????......James

i also need to know, my master cylinder is leaking like none other, all my pretty spray paint firewall paint is bubbling. GRRRRRR. so i might as well through a new booster on with the new cylinder. so what do i need. new they are like $120 at pronto! geez. thanks, Ben

I believe the proportioning valve is for disc only, for drums it's a distribution block. The master is the same, grab the booster, brackets and linkage.

If you're keeping drums, I am pretty sure you can keep the valve/block you have now as it keeps pressure equal at all 4 wheels. Only if you go disc do you need a true prop valve. Keeping drums should also keep you out of brake line hell, where I currently reside. Like gordo said, make sure to get the brackets and rod to the pedal, along with the booster. Also get the fitting from the manifold, it will save you some looking.
