What size carb on a 350?

I have a 350 motor in my 72 c10 which was just rebuilt, it has a mild cam , headers and was bored .060 over. Do you think a Holley 750 is a little big for it. That's what is on it but I have access to an Eldelbrock 600 that I can put on it.
Any opinions?
Thanks,
Dan

The 600 should be plenty. I've got a 750 on my 68 with a 396, mild cam and headers and it is too much carb for that.

600 or a 650 is best for the 350s

Re: What size carb on a 350?

See I was wondering the same thing for I have a 750 holley on my 350 and it isnt bored. My uncle (auto guru) told me that the 750 is way too much carb for that motor. He was right. I know somebody who has an edelbrock for $150 I might decide on getting. We'll see how things work out. As for this post, I can say that my truck starts up cold beautifully but once I drive it even for a minute it takes over ten cranks to start. I belive this is due to the 750 holley.
