92 column shift problems OT
This may be a bit OT but I have a 92 chevy step van with a tilt column, auto column shift. The shifter is worn out pretty bad, it has so much play in it that it hits the ign key when passing through the gears.
I have tore columns apart before, but I cant find any info on this model. Is this a part that bends? Wears out? Something that can be fixed from the bottom or do I have to dissassemble the column? A diagram would be nice but I cant locate one. Thanks for any info!

This is a link to the only exploded view I have found on the net for a tilt column. It is for 1978-1981 cars.

Thanks ChevyTech, I found that diagram. I dont think its very close to mine. I was hoping someone else had seen a loose shifter, it seems to be common, but I cant find any posts for repair info.

Are these any closer to what you have?
I had these because I needed to replace a wiper switch.
