Canadian Truck Nationals Ontario Canada

http://www.canadiantrucknationals.com/

I post it here only because the Canada board is Dead slow. I would like as many to know it's happening as possible. Feel free to move it if totally necessary.

Who all is planning on going this weekend ? Looks like it should be fun.

Re: Canadian Truck Nationals Ontario Canada

Hey 72 Mario I'd love to drive my 72 down to London for the Nationals but it would be outragiously expensive to do.

My truck gets 12MPG on the Highway.
Gas yesterday in Saskatoon was 115.9 per litre or 5.28 per gallon
Its about 1800 miles to London from Saskatoon.
1800 x 2 = 3600 miles divided by 12MPG = 300 gallons of gas
300 gallons at 5.28 per gallon = $1584.00
Add in 4 nights in motels travelling and grub on the road and WOW , it sure costs to travel in Canada.

The saving thing for me is that my inlaws live in London so it wouldnt cost me anything while I was there. I'd still love to come though. Are the Nationals always in July?
