Steering Q's
To those of you with manual steering I ask: How much play do you have in the steering wheel? I mean, when the truck is still, wheels straight ahead, how much can you trun the wheel back and forth before you can feel the resistance? How much should their be? In mine I'd say I have about 35-40 degrees (< 1/8 turn).
Have any of you installed steering stabilizer kits with your manual steering? has it help on rough or irregular paved roads????

Re: Steering Q's
I'd say you're not too far off from what both of my trucks are (where). my K10, is right at that. the '72, was a little tighter (not 4X4), but not by much.

Re: Steering Q's
Same here, about an 1/8th. I tried to "adjust" the steering box, but I couldn't get rid of any play that way.
