Chinese Bearings
After a couple of premature rear axle bearing failures and other bearing failures of bearings that was manufactured in China, I contacted a bearing supplier and asked them if they were a quality bearing. I was told the Chinese bearings were an economy bearing and if I wanted a quality bearing to use something made in USA, Japan, or Italy. Has anyone else had a similar experience or am I just getting a bunch of sales hype?

Re: Chinese Bearings
That is pretty true. I make my living selling industrial bearings. USA, Japan, German are usally the best, but there is junk in any country.Try to stick with Timken,Skf,Nachi,RBC all name brands. In bearings you do get what you pay for.
