What size clutch?

My 72 K20 needs a clutch. Looks like it'll be either a 12" or 11" based on my online research. Is there anyway to tell what size to order before I tear it all apart and it is obvious?

It's bone stock with a SM465.

Thanks in advance.

Re: What size clutch?

Isn't there an inspection cover you can remove to see the clutch? I have seen some bell housings that are like this.

Yes,there is a removeable cover on these bellhousings.I am sure you have the big clutch, but for your own piece of mind you should check.
