need adjustable front shocks -- help!!
here's the deal... bought rancho 9000's for the rear of my '89 suburban 1/2ton 2wd with a 3" lift (3" front/2" back). The worked great so I decided to buy the front and also the controller kit (w/ the compressor and guage inside). I bought the front and controller from summit. I told them my app inclusing the lift and that was it.
I just installed about 80% of the controller, then went to do the front shocks only to find out they don't fit. I call rancho and they say they don't have any shock for an '89 suburban w/ a 3" lift for the front!!!! AGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!! So now I don't know what to do... I love the rear ones and would like to control it from the inside... Are the other adjustable shocks that use a similar compressor type remote where I could use 2 different brands to make this work?? |
