Can someone tell me if these are correct below eye line mirrors for a 71 chevy?

They look similar to what I am going to run on my 70. There were several versons of mirros available for these years trucks. I'm pretty sure those were available for 69-72, maybe even the 67/68.

I would say that they are not correct 69-72. One bracket is totally hosed, the first mirror in the first pic. the legs are not straight. The second mirror head and the elbow are from a newer 73+ style. You would be paying alot for what might be one good mirror after you move the good parts around.

I thought I read on here somewhere that the upper attach parts are different between 71 and 72.

Re: Below Eye Line Mirrors 71 Chevy

The mirror head on the left is correct and exactly like my original "Option No. D29 , R/V-MIRROR-JR" as they are referred to on my glove box decal. As for the brackets, the one on the right is correct. CPNE, one of our fellow board members, can nail a 67-72 mirror down to year, make, model, assembly plant, dealer and first owner.

You may be thinking about the inside rearview mirrors on that note. Of course there maybe something different on 71 and 72 external mirrors also.
