Turn Signals
Turn signals work okay, but if the lights are on the arrow/indicator for the left signal in the dash lights up. What's up with that?
Please don't say I have to pull the bezel and install a ground. Don't know how to do that. Thanks Paul |

Check the signal/parking light assemblies up front for operation and to make sure there are screwed in tight and getting proper grounding.

They're held in with a couple of screws that go up into the bumper, right?
Should I clean them up a little? Could the bumper mounts be causing this? Thanks |

Yes, yes and yes. Check the over-all condition of the sockets while your in there.

The light up turn signal indicater is supposed to let you know that you have a blinker out. But when they get this old, they don't always work as intended.
Like said before, check your lights. If they work properly, pull the bulb out, and (with the lights off) use a battery terminal cleaning brush to scrub the inside of the socket. More likely than not, your grounds are ok...at least, if the lights come on they are ok anyways. |
