Some stuff for sale - Pa

Nitrous activation micro switch $10 shipped, extra set of engine cleaning brushe $10 shipped, power steering box/pump from mid 70's 4x4 (should fit our trucks). Pitman arm is for a 4-6" lift. $80 shipped. 3 sets of dana 44 ft axles. (2) of them are missing the long axles. One has a new set of hubs. I think 2 are 3/4 ton, 1 is 1/2 ton. $150 for all 3. 68-72 long bed (fleetside). This bed was from Texas. Very nice. Nice floor. No rust. Straight sides. Straight front panel. No gate. Only flaw is a few pits on the floor towards the front. I can try to get better pics this weekend as it is buried. I've had this for a long time. It's like losing an old friend. I'm going to put it on ebay real soon, so if someone is interested, let me know quick-like. $1000.

Maybe rent a trailer?

A few years back, I hauled an empty trailer to the Carlisle show from Detroit. I picked up a 69 SWB rolling chassis from a board member on the way

Ric2L- if you have a pickup truck you can easily get it. My buddy takes a couple old blankets and flips them over his bed rails and takes the other bed he's picking up and flips it upside down right on top of the rails and then uses ratchet tie-downs to secure it. Works like a charm. Just take it easy when driving and you should be fine!. That is a nice bed!

Re: Some stuff for sale - Pa

More pics of bed. Pits are just towrds the front parts of the bed (maybe a ft or two back from the front panel). A few dime size dings here and there. Has a few layers of paint. Very solid. Let me know if anyone needs any more pics of the bed. I also have an arizona bed in about the same shape. I will be posting some more sheetmetal for sale. I'm cleaning out my stash! The only thing I need is a good 6' bed.

One more. Thie pic shows a few extra holes someone drilled on the pass side towards the front. Not sure why. I was going to weld them shut.

Re: Some stuff for sale - Pa

It`s a real nice bed, worth the price,IMO.I do think I`ll pass, for other reasons.I`llkeep you in mind for shortbed stuff.I have alot of long-term projects, like too many.I have 1`67 and 1 later bedside from Cal.I`m picking up a complete`67 bed and a decent floor soon.I hope all that is as good as I think(from S/E).I need to do some deciding on which way I`m going before knowing what I`ll sell.

Re: Some stuff for sale - Pa

Tim, totally understand. I'm getting out of the 4x4's all together. Just sticking with my 2wd's. That will eliminate a ton of spare parts. If you do decide to sell a 6' bed, let me know. I'm officially on the hunt. Brian
