Re: ralley id please

7" or 8"? They should have some letters stamped on them somewhere. That should give you a better idea what they came from. If you find the letters you can look on ebay and get an idea of what they came from and the value.

Re: ralley id please

Yeah, the size will be stamped on there somewhere. Another way is to put the center cap on and see if the end of it sticks out past the rim or is recessed. The Vette's are 8 inches and the cap is sunk inward quite a bit. The 7 inchers (Camaro, Monte Carlo) make the center cap appear to stick out a little past the edge of the rim/trim ring. Hope this made some sense.

Re: ralley id please

Did you have a chance to get the code stamped near the valve stem ? Maybe it's an illusion , but that trim ring looks deep , like on an 8 inch.
Keep us posted .

Re: ralley id please

The trim rings look like the appropriate 15 x 7 as they have the oval for the valve stem. If they are OEM early style they will have the 4 Jesus clips that can be a bear to clip on, however, they won't mar the paint except for a small area on the bead.

They also have a later style which has the full circumference clips which will dig in to the rim and scratch the paint all the way around.

My memory of 15 x 8 Corvette trim rings is for a somewhat rounded edge in lieu of the flat or stepped bead, but I haven't picked up the ones in the garage to double check.

Anyone have a set of 15 x 7 similar to the picture but with the 4 clip arrangement drop me an email. Looking for 2 nice driver types.

For G Body applications, 15 x 7 inch wheels fit well, and can upgrade to multiple varieties of tire sizes.

Re: ralley id please

They would not be vette if they are 15x7.
Great info on the stamping...I just picked up 2 az, and 2 fw wheels yesterday. Too bad they went through a fire.

7" ralleyes are a dime a dozen around here. You can usually buy a good set (4) for around $100, maybe even less

Actually you should be able to get a set of 4 15 x 7 bare wheels for $100. These wheels were optional on lots of full size cars , Caprices , Impalas , Montes , etc . Not too rare , but nice , versatile wheels . Look good on just about anything , i ran a set with the flat caps on my wife's 87 Caprice , back in the day . Still have 'em . Anyone have 15 x 7 vette wheels with the AG code ?

Re: ralley id please

Meathead, for you question to be answered, you have to find the two letter code by the valve stem. I think the codes you gave are on the part of the wheel that is under the tire when the tire is installed. Also, from the picture you posted, I can't tell if this is a regular steel wheel or a rally.

As for value, if the wheels turn out to be for a corvette or Z28 Camaro, they may be worth some money, but we need to know the two letter code by the valve stem hole on the outside of the wheel. If the numbers you mention above came from this area, then like someone said, they are a dime a dozen.
