Question WIW... tilt

Was diggin around the junk yard lookin for VW parts for my sister's crap box, and I saw a van with a nice tilt in it. I didn't get too look at it too long becouse I was attacked by wasps. (One stung me IN MY EAR) I only had metric tools with me anyways.
So assuming no one else is dumb enough to mess with it, and I get it tomorow, what's a decent van tilt goin for anymore? Last one I sold I let it go for 100 bucks, and it sold in 15 min or so... makes me think it was too cheap.

Re: WIW... tilt

I would clean it up really good first, maybe replace the lens and or rusted parts and throw some black paint on it. With that done you could get between $175 - $225 pretty easily I would think. The less that someone has to do, the more you'll get. If you converted it for use in our trucks I'd think you'd be looking at around $300 that someone would pay, I see tham on ebay for close to that for already converted ones. Depends on how much time you want to invest

Just make sure you get the column for $15 like the other guy from the board, then throw it on eBay and make a killin' remember Cali isn't cheap

Paul... it's like you can read my mind. I actually found 2 of them today, and I think they were pulling in ANOTHER ONE!!!!
Yep, I'll be back there tomorow.
Not getting them for 15 bucks, but the profit margin is still pretty good.
