only one obstacle left.........
and i will have my tubbed out 71 short bed bb chevy to cruise around in !! still have to find a set of drums that will work with my rear and still fit inside the rim (12 1/2" clearance INSIDE rim) i have a place working on it but will have to do more investigating. i did measure my drums and if i do alot of machining to them i could use them (alot fo fin would have to come off)
this is what i needed to stay with the project. was getting kinda bummed out like i did on my 68 camaro. MAYBE ill finish this truck |

RAGE- i wish i had the engine/drivetrain thats in your truck. ive heard your vid and that truck is a monster.
KRUE- if my drum findings dont turn up anything come tomorrow i will prob. take mine down to the local machinist and have him cut away at them still need to either paint or powder coat the rims so that will be my only other pitfall after getting the drums figured out. |

Re: only one obstacle left.........
That`s what I`d do,not grind. It`s a matter of balance.Since you seem to be on to a solution,I`ll make my wise-axx comment that came to mind(I didn`t want to raz you when you were stuck)."If it`s that tight, just let the wheels be the drum."Probably wasn`t worth sayin`,but who cares?
When I get to that part on my`67 GMC project,I`ll remember what you ran into.I`ll be runnin`a Dana60 with Mark Williams 5-lug outer parts/discs.
