Help w/ DJM Flip Kit

I started installing my DJM F/K in my 81 C10 short wide last night and found a few problems. The saddles that sit into the bottom of the spring perches pivot on the axle tube and doesnt let the axle sit all the way down against the saddle. I have a regular old corporate 10 bolt, so the tubes shoiuldnt be to big for the saddles. Im not sure this just seems un safe, any one else ever see this problem?

Re: Help w/ DJM Flip Kit

Sounds like a problem to me...I installed the McGaughys flip kit last night on my '77 and everything fits perfectly. The McGaughys 'saddle' fits perfectly around the axle tube and the ends rest on the axle's spring perch.

Yeah, it sounds like it isn't seated properly. Are you sure you have the right DJM flip kit? Got a pic of the setup?
