Post straight or angled ? poll

ok ram horn manifolds n 2wd 68 small V8 engine, pass side should be straight or angled ? i know for sure driver side is angled back, but pass side with the heat riser deal ? im thinking was original straight center dump now that i recall ....

thanks

thats what i figure also, but whats wierd about it is that i remember it having a heat riser on the pass side because it was baling wired open to the engine mount tower, and the only way it could have been is if the heat riser was above the top of the frame rail(barely) in which it was. plus I saw a 64 or 65 C20 with 283 iin a yard a couple months back and it had straigh center dumps on it, so hmmmmm

hmmm

thanks

Yes, I think prior to 67, the trucks did have straight dumps, but havent played with the 66 on back.....so I am unsure as to why......69

My two 327 camel back manifolds look like mirror images of each other. Both angle back and the same angle.

I have heard contrasting opinions on the manifold thing. Someone told me a running change in '68 put angled manifolds in. Maybe Tim Christian has input since he has all those '67s.

Question

It's funny, The (p 17) resto pack illustration for the 327 "High Torque" (as well as the 307)clearly shows a down dump manifold on the driver's side. Otherwise the illustration is exactly the same as my engine. Hmm, Another 67-68 mystery here Randy.
