One thing that the poster also did was reinstall new foam to seal the all the vents and connections better. I'm not sure what its called, its foam on one side and sticky tape on the other. Most I have seen that are original turn to dust if you mess with them or wont stick where they are supposed to. That itself will cause an air leak.
