Yes, in my opinion it does. My old man painted the truck in different stages and in different temps over the last few years. It started with the cab, then the doors, then the front fenders and windshield wiper cowling, and finally the box. The box doesn't even have body filler on it - it's virtually rust free and straight. There are a few imperfections - for example different color tint between the doors and cab, couple of small dings, etc. When the hood was sprayed, the paint dried before it even hit the metal - now he uses hot weather reducer. So after I get all the drive train installed and chrome pieces replaced (bumpers, grill, etc) then I will take it to the paint guy and give it a nice base clear finish. Currently its painted with acrylic enamel. My old man did a lot of labor on this truck and I was feeling a little guilty buying all these new parts. I told him my plan for it and he was more excited than I was - he can't wait to see it on the street! This has been a great project and very well anticipated project on my end for the last 5-6 years.

I got half way done with installing the longer wheels studs, cutting them down, and installing my new wheels and tires. Then I had work. I am going to paint the drums and do the other side wednesday since I have a day off.

If you are referring to my truck, I picked up the bed kit from www.lmctruck.com - everything was pre cut and routered for the bed strips. All I had to do was varnish and stain it.

Three days of overgrowth cleaning left by the PO who did not believe in yard work.

Love yardwork in 100 temps and high humidity.

pulled the 72 blazer 2wd out of the shed and pulled the motor. taking the motor to get rebuilt tomorrow.

planned on painting my 400 sb and changing all the gaskets and seals.Decided beforehand to do the rings and bearings too so I bought everything I needed and started tearing into it.Soon found out that the engine was like new inside except for one thing.....a deep little divot in #6 cylinder wall.Block no good!went out to the bone yard and found another 400sb in an old burb and tore that out and took it down to the block.virgin block and everything looked good.Only problem was that the other block was bored
.030 over, mains and throws were machined .010.Off to the machine shop in order to make that block match the original one.After much discussion,I was talked into going with a well built 350 and saving the 400 (minus the heads which will be goin on the 350)for something else.
I hate it when I spend three days working on the truck only to lose ground and much money.

Took apart every thing under the hood, cleaned it up, tape it up,shot some primer,painted every thing I could get to and three weeks later finally shut the hood again,alot of work but it was well worth it!!!!!!! I know yall love pictures so heres a few!!:
