Is this a board member's 2wd blazer?

Look at the blazer link I posted in the ebay finds... I could have sworn someone on this board owned it, I seem to remember the suicide doors...

I'd like to get some info on how the doors were done.

Thanks, Rg

Re: Is this a board member's 2wd blazer?

I don't believe this one is a board members - but there is a board member with a red 2wd blazer with suicide doors. I can't remember his board name right now.

This yellow rig has been for sale for a long time. The listing says, "the price for this truck is just 6200 dollar's." This makes me think that the listing or someone's account was high jacked. When an email is posted in the listing rather than the "contact seller", it screams scam. I sent an email via the "contact seller" asking about the price in the listing, but I did not recieve a reply.

I think you're right on both counts. Now that I think about it the truck I was thinking about may have been red.

That price does seem to good to be true...

Thanks Krue, I had some of the threads for trucks saved, but I was worried about bracing on the Blazers. Looks to me like you would have to do alot of work, especially if you wanted to run topless.

Re: Is this a board member's 2wd blazer?

That Blazer has been on Ebay before. I remember the yellow rose painting and the eyes stickers. Also, I remember a company that had the same/similar building in the background that had more then one ride listed on ebay (not totally sure).

I agree with Bouncy that this screams scam. If you look at the the seller's feedback, which is rated at (1), there is a previous sale of a F*rd to a buyer with no feedback. Also that auction says: The seller ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price That is the first time I have ever seen that.

I'd guess that the auction ended because questions were asked through ebay and it brought the scam to light.

Interesting, now the auction says:
Note: This listing is restricted to pre-approved bidders or buyers only.

Oh and I love the VIN number that is listed...

Re: Is this a board member's 2wd blazer?

I have a Red 72 Blazer , Which I purchased in Carlisle Last year. It looks like it used to be purple and at another point in its life ,yellow. I am looking for any history on this truck if anyone has it. Tweed interior, Red, Lowered. Torque thrusts. Thanks
