I think most of us know how it feels to start a project...too bad I've started three, have three to do at the same time, still have the same three to do, and haven't finished anything. At least one (my Odyssey) is a get-running-and-play-HARD-with type of project, my 69 Mustang is a mom's-paying-for-it project, and my 69 C-10 is a get-running-then-play-with-and-in-the-future-restore project... I find mechanical work easier for me than body work (then again, I've never done body work in my life) so doing the engine work myself now is easy enough (well, with money it would be easy)... I guess I could always have some of my friends help me to body work. (any tips?)

I like this quote:

"then at the end of the day i put on my sticker representing the most helpful, best site for building my truck in the world. the 67-72 messageboard also covers gm trucks 1947-present, and it's the ****. i've even bought stuff from guys on there."

Re: truck = done

I thought you had sold it. A project is never really done until you see it roll our of your driveway for the last time with the new owner at the wheel.

In the meantime you have the interior looking good...

Re: truck = done

Wow, I just realized you live in Arlington TX. I lived there for a few years when I was younger in a (no joke) haunted house on Pebblebrook St. about a block away from Center St. (right next to Vandergriff park), then moved over to Mansfield (Avanti Dr.) for a couple years before Dad got transferred to Miramar, San Diego.

Congrats on the truck man. I wish I could say my buildup went that fast
