need ot know length of a 73-82 12 bolt axle shaft
need to know the overall length of 73-up 12 bolt axle shaft, not ens with the brakes larger than 11x2

If your talking about the shaft its self, my 76 1/2 4x4 axle is 31 inches end to end. On a side note, I bought a 72 12 bolt coil rear end to put in my 67. Since my 67 is 6 lug and the 72 was a 5 I had a problem. I solved this by using the 76 4x4 6 lug axles and they fit perfect. Just my 2 bits

Yup, its 31 3/8"..........I have a pair of 73 "spares",& that is flange to end...69

This is what Hollanders shows for 71-up 12 bolt:
2WD-30 spline; 31-15/32" long. 4WD-30 spline; 31-11/32" long. For info, here is more: 70 2WD & 4WD-30 spline; 31-11/32" long. 65-69 2WD & 4WD-30 spline; 30-1/4" long.
