Before, After, & Again

Let's see some pics of how your truck(s) looked when you first got them. Then what they look like now. Or, if you are like me... What it looked like after each restoration/build.

I'll start it up!

When I first got it....
and now after I went crazy...

PS: Dont stare at your truck for too long!
Thats why my truck is in it's current state.
It was a domino effect.

Yup! I nit-picked my old body and paint job to the point that it cost me another one only three and a half years later. My first pic was 12/31/1999, the day I bought the truck. The next pic was 12/31/2001. The last pic was this past March (I think), when it the new body & paint was done, the new interior, and the bed wood updated.

Definitely don't stare too long! It gets expensive. Plus another problem I have is that I want mine to be the same quality level as vehicles I see while I am at shows for work. Plus work outfits me with real cool show trucks to drive on a daily business. I have to remind myself that my budget is no where near what the company's is.

Re: Before, After, & Again

subtle71,

By the looks of the first pic to the second, about 8-10 years went by...The Ford went from the old old body style to the current old body style

I'm not sure anyone can tell the difference between when I first got my truck, to it's current state....At least my Wife can't

Mike

Re: Before, After, & Again

The day I found her:

After a lot of elbow grease, new chrome, new engine, interior pieces, bumpers, exhaust, wheel and tires:

I don't have any pictures on my photo host or on this laptop of after the wreck, but here is the rebuilding process starting with shortening a new-to-me LWB frame into a SWB:

Some bling:

And now:
