WHY I LOVE CHEVY'S...(venting)

right now im driving a plymouth reiant...(K CAR) and boy am i ever getting sick of this thing, first i did brake pads, calipers and rotors, then it was radiator, and now it looks like wheel bearings and possibly cv's (does anyone know what these cost and how much work is required in putting them in?) im sick of using truck money on this heap of crap...its beyond the point now where im looking forward to the truck, its become an obsession and i feel like driving my car off a cliff, i wish some drunk driver would smoke me or something....what was a last minute winter beater has now turned into something ive drivin for the last 11 months...some please tell me they are in worse shape then me...

oops

i forgot to say why i love 67-72 chevy's/gmc's

1. they arent front wheel drive
2. they arent a product of dodge
3. there is nothin id rather spend every cent i have on
4. they are trucks
5. chicks dig em, unlike k cars
6. they can blow the doors off ricers
7. you can pop the hood and the engine and tranny arent sitting sideways
8. they are a lot more simple then newer fuel injected garbage
9. you can hear them coming down the road before you even look
10. not too many k cars have flames...

tell me why you love them too!!!

well, you could be stuck with my boat.....it's a 4-40.....(use it for 4 hours, work on it for 40)......its a 72 Glastron 17.5' open bow tri hull with a 67 evinrude 100hp that no parts are available for.....it's getting cobbled to the point it won't hardly run anymore.

its an 85, automatic, and its the driverside...but i think it might just be the wheel bearing...like when i jack it up there is play with i shake the wheel. but the cv feels solid...does this make sense

I love em because the parts prices aren't outrageous. My wife has a 2001 Jeep Liberty (Cherokee over here) and last week some little B*****d prised the glass out of the drivers door mirror. In the process they busted one of the posts on the electric adjustment motor and took the backplate that the mirror fixes to. This meant a whole new mirror assembly as Jeep don't supply the missing parts seperately. The total of $388.10 didn't make me enormously happy when it was fitted this morning. Not even any in Junkyards yet because they're too new, even bad accidents are still economically viable to reshell as they've only been out a year over here.

Still not as bad as my previous Mazda 323 Gti, when the ABS control unit blew, quoted over $1500 and I would have had to wait for one to be shipped in from Japan by boat! Solved that one though with a $75 unit from a junkyard.

Modern cars suck!
