72 LWB frame,cab and title 4 sale

I have decided to change directions and scrap project afterburn and build the 67 small window short fleet that is in my sig. The frame looks great and is straight as far as I can tell, haven't measured anything, this for the frame only no suspension at all, but the auto tranny x member can go with it. The cab is in good shape too and the firewall(no rust in firewall area at all it's perfect) inside and out has been sandblasted and primered, as well as the top and outside of the drip rail. The cab has a couple small spots around the footwheels on the outside(shown in pics), it has some rust in the rockers, and has had the floor and cab corners reapired before(descent work not done by me) it also has two small spots above the visor area also shown in the pics. Overall the cab is in good shape not needing too much work. It also comes with a clear ky title in my name and in hand if needed. I paid $350 for the blasting and primering and would like to get that out of the cab frame and title. Here is a link to the pics I have of them if you want to see anything else just ask. Please respond in thei thread ONLY NO PM's. Randy

Yeah the thread is basically for the cab, the frame and title are just a bonus. How long are we talking on me keeping it? Cab would have to be paid for now though...Randy

Well, I live in northeast MO, (7 hours from you), and I'm working in southeast South Dakota for the summer....
It could be as late as this fall before I could come and get it. I might be able to make it sooner but I can't be for sure.

Do you have any pics of the bottom of the floor? In particular where the replacement panels were installed.

How did the doors fit? (If you had them installed).

Off topic, but do you still have the grille surround and billet grille that is in your photobucket album? For sale by chance?

Re: 72 LWB frame, cab and title 4 sale

I won't be able to keep the cab inside for that long. I might be able to get it in dry storage (barn) but I can't guarantee it won't get moisture to is(primer) would be covered with a tarp inside the garage.
I will get pics of the bottom of the floors later today if I can and add to the photobucket. The doors fit and shut great before I took them off, and I may have a photo with the doors still on the truck I will check and see. The grill is listed in another thread here:http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=206289

I would like to sell them together and I possibly could meet you say in evansville for the cost of fuel, however you would have to bring the manpower as I would be by myself most likely.

Re: 72 LWB frame, cab and title 4 sale

How about $300 cash for the cab/title and I come and pick it up this weekend, (Sat afternoon/evening)? (Man, that will make for a loong drive this weekend though.... )

Do you have a way to load it in a pickup or maybe a small utility trailer?

Re: 72 LWB frame, cab and title 4 sale

OK sounds good, I could help in loading on a utility trailer, but not sure about a pick up.I have a engine hoist/come along we can use to get the cab in the air to load it, so should be able to do it either way. I'll PM with me phone # and address...Randy
