Parts shopping in Denver

I saw the thread in another board of a member looking for truck shows in the Denver area, so I stole his idea to see where good places to look for some misc 70-72 GMC, Blazer, pickup parts, ect. Takin my Ma down to see her daughters. I'm gonna be stayin in Arvada at one of my sisters, and probly need to look in an area within an hour drive. Gonna be there about 6 days in a couple weeks.

Thanks---DAC

Western auto recyling on Federal boulevard sometimes has some of the older Chevy/GMC trucks. It gets REALLY busy on Saturdays and Sundays so you need to get there early.... Erie Auto salvage might have some too.

Re: Parts shopping in Denver

Thanks, Larry,
I have seen a big junkyard around the racetrack area in Erie, must be the one. Is Western up north on Federal? Pretty cool its even open on Sundays but I'll try do a weekday.
My sis lives about 2 miles south of that reservior (I cant ever remember its name), between Ward and Simms on 71st, in Arvada.

Later---DAC

If you stop at Erie you want to go to the yard to the east of Erie Auto Salvage. It's called Speedway, you take the dirt road that runs E/W that is just to the north of Erie Salvage. It's pretty picked over but maybe you'll see something you need.
