Exclamation hp of a 78 350 and 70 350

does anyone know what the stock horsepower of a '78 350 and '70 350 would be? Does one of them have more hp than the other?thanks for the help

i believe if you have a 78 350 without emissions and with a 4bbl you would be pushing an awsome 185 hp
but a 70 chevy 350 truck 4 bolt main would be 250-300 hp

185 is net rating,
gross rating would be close to same as the 70 350, you have to remember that gross and net are not same, 70 truck 350 was about 175hp(net)(72 were 175 anyways)


its basically a tie, not muh of anything differnt between them

'75 truck 350s were rated at 160 net hp with the 4bbl. In '75, if you wanted 175 net hp, you had to go with the 400 sb. As stated above, the '70 truck 350 4bbl was rated 255 gross hp, which was 175 net hp. By '75, the motors were starting to be choked by emissions stuff.
