Renewing Black Plastic on Bumpers?

Are there any good ways to renew the black plastic on newer bumpers,88-98,your typical armour all and other detailing products are not cutting it anymore?

Re: Renewing Black Plastic on Bumpers?

I use this stuff i get at an auto body supply store. It works real good. I will see if I can find it in my crap. I forget the name. it lasts a long time like 4-6 months and then you notice a little fading

No it has a seperate foam applicator that you just run along going the same direction only. I looked this morning but haven't located it. I would go to the paint store but they are closed till tuesday. I may still find it. I've tried all kinds of other brands and this one works the best that I have found. I use it also to blacken sprayed on bedliners that turn a little lighter.

Another product I've used is called "Black Again"- it works great, especially removing excess wax from black surfaces as well.

Re: Renewing Black Plastic on Bumpers?

I have used a lot of products and I think that "Mothers" makes the best plastic polish out there amour all and other products will dull and crack plastic over time. The best way to keep your plastic in shape is a plastic polish
