What is maximum rear spacing on Rallye wheels?
Hey guys,
My dad is thinking of buying steel Rallye wheels for his stock 70 fleetside. He has 6 lug drums. I assuming he should be looking for 5.5 bolt pattern. What should the back space be?. The tires will probably be 275/60/15. Thanks

6 on 5 1/2" pattern, yes, and there is only one backspacing on the 10" 4x4 rallies, if you mean GM stock ones anyways

I believe 'GM' 6-lug rallys came w/a 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern & was 8" wide w/4" back space which will work fine on a 70 model. I don't claim to know alot but have never heard of anything larger than 8's that was stock w/these style ralleys.

The stock 6 lug rallys are 8 inches wide, and they have 3 1/2" backspacing. These wheels fit perfect on any truck from '67 (probably older), to '87.
